Cottage description
Summary: Lapwing is the right hand side of the 2-storey building (right, un-greyed out). Lapwing is very similar to Peewit (on left hand side) with the living area upstairs and the bedrooms on the ground floor. However it is considerably bigger. This cottage shares a courtyard garden with Peewit and Plover (the single storey building on the right).
Ground floor: A double bedroom and a twin bedroom with an option of a third pull out single bed. Bathroom with shower over the bath.
First floor: Open plan Kitchen, lounge and dining area with flint and brick fireplace, wood burner and exposed beams. Excellent views of the village.

- TV (with Freeview Channels), Video, and CD player
- Fridge with freezer compartment
- Electric kitchen hob, oven and microwave
- Local information, maps, videos, books, magazines, puzzles, and games
If needed for small children: cots, highchairs, fireguards and stair gates provided free of charge.
Heating and electricity: Lapwing cottage is heated by storage heaters and wood-burners (logs provided free from mid-September until early May). In addition, we provide plug-in convector heaters for extra warmth.
- Until February 2008, Electricity will be supplied at normal rates, payable by slot meter (£1 coins).
- After February 2008, Heating and electricity are included.
Parking: off-road parking for two cars.

Besides the indoor heated swimming pool (details), games room, children's play area, laundry room, ample off road parking (refer to layout plan - click image, right) also available are:
